We were married in 1995 and have been blessed with two wonderful children, who are now grown up and off on their own adventures with God. We are also on an adventure with God, and part of that adventure is that He has recently brought us to Mid Wales in the beautiful region of Brecon. We
love our family dearly and spending time with them is incredibly important to us.
When we married we had a sincere desire to walk with God and raise children in a godly way, but having both been raised in homes that had caused wounding, we carried deep shame, and fear dominated our relationship together and how we parented. We experienced a long season of traumatic life events including the devastating loss of five loved ones in seven years, job loss and
deep wounding through spiritual abuse.
We reached crisis in 2013 where it seemed like everything, including our marriage, was falling apart.
The world and everyone in it was unsafe, and we were left with the feeling that God was a distant authority figure, not a loving Father. We are so thankful that it was at this point we found RTF and had Thorough Format Ministry.
God totally transformed us as individuals, transformed our marriage, and above all healed our relationship with Him as our loving Heavenly Father. The healing then changed how we parented and we saw blessing for our children too. As we walked out our healing, we had the sense of God saying, “you can’t keep this to yourselves” And we knew that He was calling us to enter into training as RTF ministers.
