Rob & Janet Pengilley

(Deeper With God Ministries)

 Location: Truro, Cornwall, UK

Janet: I have had a full and diverse working life, first as a bilingual secretary, then as a State Registered Nurse, and Sister in Charge, and finally as a trained primary school teacher and
pre-school nursery manager. In my twenties I graduated after two years study at Christian Life College.

Rob: Following studying at Art and Design College I worked as a bus driver while establishing my own graphic design business. Most of my working life I was a graphic designer and art director. I had four children with my first wife – one is with Jesus, the others are all now grown-up, and we have a gorgeous young grand-daughter.

Both: We have walked with God for a combined 100 years. We met in 1994 and married in 1998. Since being together God has taken us on an amazing journey of experiencing His love and goodness. Over the past twenty-five years we have experienced a deepening connection with God as our true Father and have had years of experience using the gifts of the Holy Spirit in ministry. We have also had the privilege of travelling in many countries ministering God’s love. We continue to experience miraculous and life-defining encounters with the truth of God the Father’s love and His power to set us free.

Our Connection to Restoring The Foundations

Our awareness of Restoring the Foundation began in 2000 when Chester and Betsy Kylstra visited our church in Bath, UK. At the time we were using another model of prayer ministry which we continued to practise. In 2008 we spent a year volunteering in a church in Ontario, Canada, where we re-connected with RTF.

Then in 2009, the Lord opened the way for us to go to Echo Mountain in North Carolina and be thoroughly trained in RTF ministry. We ended up staying at Echo Mountain for nearly a year – Rob undertaking graphic design work for RTF, and both of us gaining further ministry experience – which totally transformed our lives and we fell in love with the RTF ministry.

In early 2010 we returned to England as Healing House Network (HHN) ministers. We never returned to the other forms of ministry we had been using as we were convinced that RTF was the most sound and comprehensive model of prayer ministry available. Over the following years we ministered to many in the UK and abroad, but later, because of family circumstances, we allowed our HHN status to lapse for several years. In 2022, we were welcomed back as active ministers of the HHN family.

Ministry Distinctives

Our ministry comes out of our own healed brokenness. We have experienced the pain of broken relationships, childhood family break-up, divorce, suicide, parenting children with disability, the death of a child, dementia, business failure, as well as the rejections and betrayals that a long life (we are both in our seventies) bring our way. More important to us than all of this, is our experience of the wonderful healing freedom that Jesus’ unconditional love brings. Our passion is to see people connect with the love of God and prove that Jesus really did come to earth to destroy the works of the devil.

Our ministry conveys God’s heart of a father and is characterised by sensitivity to the Holy Spirit’s leading. We are constantly thrilled to see how the Holy Spirit works in conjunction with Biblical truths within the RTF ministry process to bring lasting change and hope to people no matter what their circumstances, or difficulties.

We would love to welcome you to beautiful Cornwall, one of the most popular holiday destinations in England. There is world-class surfing, wide sandy beaches, quaint harbours and hidden coves, plus over 500 miles of coastal paths to explore. Not to mention the excellent cuisine offered by top quality restaurants.

Our home is on the edge of a small village backing onto farmland. Though we are not on the coast there are a dozen beaches within 30 minutes drive. Despite being situated in a quiet backwater we are well connected to the rest of the world. We are less than ten minutes drive from Truro, the county town, where there are all the facilities you could possibly need, including a direct main line Rail Service, and Coach Service, to London. The A30 is a dual carriageway road all the way to the M5 and the UK motorway network, making driving to us very straightforward. Newquay Airport is under an hour away. There is a Premier Inn Hotel two minutes drive away or an easy flat walk, for those who like the exercise.
