Both of us were raised in Christian homes – Rod in the UK and Brigitte in Switzerland – we married in 1973 but did not come to know the Lord as our personal Saviour until we were in our thirties.
We have two sons and three grandchildren – who live abroad.
Rodney spent all of his working life in I.T. – while Brigitte’s background is in health-related services.
Years before we heard of RTF we had a prophetic word that we would minister to both couples and singles.
When we attended a Healing and Deliverance Seminar at our church, we just knew straightaway that this was what God had been preparing us for over the years. Our Thorough Format Ministry transformed us and put some new direction into our lives.
We qualified as an IFM Team in 2003, and two years later we became HHN Ministers.
Since then we have ministered across the UK and Northern Ireland, as well as in the Czech Republic, Norway, Jersey and the Netherlands.
It is said that our life experiences flavour the ministry.
We lost our first child, but have had the joy of raising two fine sons who are both following the Lord; one of whom is leading a Salvation Army Corps – with his wife – in Australia.
We have dealt with the loss of our parents both at home and abroad and have remained strong and focused through some divorce in the family.
It is such a privilege being part of RTF and there is nothing to touch the feeling of joy that we get when we sense God’s presence in the Ministry room and observe the healing and freedom that He brings to the Ministry Receiver.
While we have enjoyed the experience of ministering over the Internet with Zoom while Covid was around, we are now happy to return to face-to-face ministry when that is the Ministry Receiver’s preferred option.
